Somewhere there's a tangerine
growing on a tree
somewhere there's a chimpanzee
swinging, being free
somewhere there's a millionaire
counting all his cash
somewhere there's a stoner man,
smoking lots of hash
somewhere there's a homeless man,
begging them for change
somewhere there's a vocalist,
working on her range
somewhere there's eternal fire,
burning deep inside
someday it will burn them all,
burn us all alive
I wrote this while trying out a different kind of antidepressant a while back... Pretty sure it wasn't working.
But it was full of talent!
