So here's the deal; I have no girlfriend, all my friends are busy, no car, and even if i did i live too far from anything for it to be enjoyable, so i've decided i'm going to replay through some old school games again. So far i've played through The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. It was my first time playing all the way through it without cheating since i was like 10. I'm about to begin Majora's Mask, and after that i'm a complete blank. Anyone know of some other good old school games? I have access to play anything pre-ps2.
P.S. What happened to newer games!? They're all about guns and zombies. It was fun at first but come on, they're bleeding the concept dry.
Maybe some of the old FF games? Or super mario, all I can think of off the top of my head :O
ReplyDeleteLegend of Dragoon is great.
ReplyDeleteGoldeneye N64? Classic game
ReplyDeleteFinal Fantasy Tactics for PS1 has good replay value
ReplyDeleteDoom, that game was the shiz
ReplyDeletei 'm with you! old school games rox!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletenever play zelda....
ReplyDeleteYou can go super oldschool and play super mario on SNES. But that would probably only take like 45 min to beat. Lol Less if you used starworld.
ReplyDeletenewer games are a bit too complicated/intense
ReplyDeletei'll stick to the side scrollers
i still love playing mario party, although its kind of boring without people to play with. mario64 was always fun, and ANY resident evil game is worth playing.
ReplyDeleteI loved Majoras Mask to pieces. So soothing just going through town, stalking different characters through the three different days. There's a lot of little details in that game.
ReplyDeleteAlso, i like the zombie concept, BUT, they haven't done it right yet. People who's into the whole zombie apocalypse thing like the 'survival' part of it. People scavenging, trying to get by etc. That's what that genre needs. A proper game with a timeline, where you roam and try to surviva, and decapitate the occasional zombie. "The Walking Dead" the game, if you know what I mean.
I haven't beat Majora's Mask yet, it glitched and wouldn't let me do something so i gave up
ReplyDeleteGo play sokoban, now that is old school :P
ReplyDeleteJust play Chrono Cross! please do yourself a favor!!!! =)
ReplyDeletefucking zelda, epic series!!!
