Change of plans
Okay.. my stay in NC hasn't been going as I planned.. It started out fine, but the other night I got a phone call telling me one of my best friends died in a car wreck.. Since then everything has kind of just been... unreal. I'm going back to SC for the funeral tomorrow and I don't know whats going to happen after that. I'll be back to normal blogging soon.. Hopefully.

A post not about games? Whaaaaaaat?
Sorry for not keeping up normal updates. I've been in a bit of an anti-social slump lately. I've still been stopping in daily and checking out all your blogs and stuff, just haven't had much to post about or say. I'll be spending some time away from home the next week or two, but i'll still be checking in as much as I possibly can! You know that feeling where you feel like you're trapped? Thats how my state of mind has been lately, so I have to get out of my house before I go insane haha.
I've also been messing around with a cool program called Guitar Rig. Guitar Rig 3 to be exact. A friend told me about it and I figured I'd give it a shot since my normal effects processor is busted. I normally play a Jackson Kelly JS30KE, pretty much the cheapest Kelly you can buy, through a Digitech RP90, one of the cheapest effects processors you can get. It's served me very well for the past year and a half, but the plastic casing is busted and a friend of mine spilled something on it so half the buttons are unusuable. My guitar still has the stock pickups but i'm hoping to replace those with some EMG's or something when I get some money together. Anyways, Guitar Rig works great if you don't have the necissary hardware to get the sound you want in physical form. It's a bit costy, and it requires a relatively high-end sound card to work properly, but if you have the right requirements it can pretty much give you any tone you want to have. Even with stock pickups it can confuse me into thinking I have a 2000+$ rig. That's a good feeling to have when you're a guitarist.
Anyways I may be gone for a while but i'll be keeping up, I promise :P

Yay, Accomplishment!
Ta-daaaaa!
I finally got around to finishing it. Honestly I teared up at the ending credits, just cause the game was over.
I've never really understood the whole argument about which is better between this and Ocarina of Time. They're both freaking amazing and should be treated as such. People just like to argue, I suppose. So in a couple of days I think I'll break out my Wii and replay Twilight Princess. I think a friend of mine has my copy of Wind Waker so that'll have to wait. I can't really remember much of what goes on in Twilight Princess.. I guess there was a lot of ridiculous crap going on in my life at that point in time and I tend to repress memories subconsciously, so maybe some TP memories got caught up in the repressing. Nothing replaying it can't fix :P

Where did time go?
Hello Universe. So here's the story... I've still been playing Majora's Mask, though not as much as at first. I still plan to finish it ASAP.
However, this morning I decided to see what Minecraft is all about. Six hours later and I realize the game is F***ING AWESOME, but for reasons I can't put words to. There's just something so unexplainably addictive about building stuff and avoiding zombies, etc. This is one of the few things that has been extremely hyped up that I can actually enjoy. Usually when something has so much hype behind it, I'll try it out and just not get it. But I get it this time, internet. Oh yes, I get it.

Pickleman Guitar Solo? Oh snap
Thanks to Google Images, I found the original pickle image I used in the first Pickleman pic I posted a while back. And thanks to that, me having a crap load of free time and lacking a life, and Photoshop...
Tadaaaaaa!!
My Photoshop skills suck horribly, but I think it adds to the hilarity. It may suck but I'm proud of it :P
Enjoy the shreddage. Peace
